Life Path Architect Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
The short version
- Life Path helps you explore possible futures. We collect only what a plan needs, and we use it to calculate and explain your futures — not to judge you or decide anything about you.
- We never sell your information, and we never use your plan or relationship answers for advertising.
- Your relationship answers are optional, encrypted with their own key, and never sent to AI. You can delete them yourself at any time; when you do, the key is destroyed first, so they become unreadable everywhere, including backups, within 7 days.
- AI is used only to help match a question you type to the figures in your plan, and to draw an optional match picture from choices you pick. It never sees your plan’s numbers, your answers, your name or your email.
- You must be 18 or older, and Life Path is offered in the United States for now.
- You can see, correct, export and delete your information from your account, and you have rights under U.S. state privacy laws (section 15).
- This policy explains the details. Our Flower Architect Terms of Service and the Life Path Terms cover the rest.
1. Who we are
Life Path Architect (“Life Path”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Sealogix Corporation, the company behind Flower Architect, Wedding Architect and Venue Architect. You sign in with your Flower Architect or Wedding Architect account, and Life Path runs on the same secure infrastructure. The company responsible for your information under this policy is Sealogix Corporation, 2531 Jackson Ave, STE 322, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. You can reach us about your information at jenny@flowerarchitect.com.
This is the privacy policy for Life Path Architect. It is separate from any policy for Flower Architect’s other products and describes only how Life Path handles your information.
Your sign-in and your billing go through Flower Architect; what it does with that information is in the Flower Architect Privacy Policy.
2. Where this applies, and what is not yet switched on
Life Path is offered in the United States for now. Its figures — pay, rents, prices, taxes and the like — come from U.S. data, and this policy is written for U.S. users. We have not launched in Canada or elsewhere; before we do, we will provide the notices and choices those places require (section 17).
Some features described in our help are introduced in stages. In particular, features that would involve health, body or cosmetic information are turned off and are not available while a separate review of consumer-health-data rules is completed. We describe each feature in plain, neutral terms (for example, “Explore Who Matches My Preferences” and “Places & Activities to Explore”) and we show results as population statistics, never as a personal prediction about you.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what a feature needs. Every relationship answer is optional. We never ask for your race, ethnicity or religion, and we do not collect photos, biometrics or free-text about yourself.
- Account. Your sign-in, handled through your Flower Architect or Wedding Architect account, and your birth year (used to confirm you are 18 or older and to set ages in your plan).
- Plan information. What you choose to tell us for a plan — for example occupation, pay, savings, debts, home, household and the area you live in — used to calculate and explain your futures. Some of these are optional, and we use a typical value when you leave one out.
- Sensitive plan information. Optional details such as health, pregnancy or fertility intentions, and anything you type in your own words. These are stored only after you give separate permission, and they are encrypted (section 6).
- Relationship answers (the optional Love & Partnership area). Who you are interested in, your state, interests you pick from a set list, and partner criteria you choose — used only to count how many people match the criteria you ask about. You may also use a “Don’t save my answers” mode, which keeps them only for the count you ask for.
- Payment information. If you buy Full access ($19.99, once), the payment is handled by our payment processor; we receive a record that the purchase happened, not your full card number.
- Usage and device information. Basic technical information every website receives (such as your IP address and browser) and limited, privacy-minimized records that a calculation ran, so we can keep the service working, secure and within fair-use limits.
- Consent and audit records. A record that you agreed to a purpose, and that a calculation ran — written so it does not contain your answers.
We do not collect, infer or store race, ethnicity, skin colour, national origin, ancestry, language, citizenship, disability, religion, or your own gender or orientation. Your ZIP code, when used, is looked up in your browser and never sent to us — only the state is.
4. Your relationship answers (who you’re interested in)
The Love & Partnership area is optional and private. We treat “who you’re interested in” as sensitive, because it can reveal information about sexual orientation. We use it, and your other relationship answers, only to calculate the population you ask us to count, and only with your permission. We ask for that permission for each kind of answer, show you what it is for before you answer, and let you choose Skip or Prefer not to say.
- Your relationship answers are never used for advertising, never sold, and never shown to anyone you share a plan with.
- They are never sent to AI. Counts and rankings here come from our own calculations.
- We record that you agreed to a purpose in a way that does not store the answer itself.
- We do not put your answers in web addresses, and we keep records of how you used this area to a minimum, so that simply using it does not reveal sensitive information about you.
5. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- calculate and explain your futures, and the population counts you ask for;
- save the futures and plans you choose to keep, and run optional features such as Full access, included futures and action tokens;
- keep the service working, secure, and within fair-use limits, and prevent abuse;
- answer your support requests and tell you about important changes to the service or this policy.
We present results as population statistics — for example, “among people with these characteristics, about so many in ten…”. We do not tell you your personal probability of an outcome, and we do not rank you or anyone else.
6. How we protect sensitive information
Sensitive plan answers (such as health) and all of your relationship answers are encrypted before we store them. Your relationship answers are sealed with a key used for nothing else — a separate key held apart from the database — so that even people who can see the database cannot read them.
When you delete your relationship answers, we destroy that key first. Because the answers can only be read with the key, they become unreadable everywhere, including backups, within 7 days. Health and other sensitive plan answers are encrypted the same way, and for some topics you can choose not to store them at all.
Features that would involve health, body or cosmetic information are turned off while a separate consumer-health-data review is completed, so this policy does not describe them as active.
7. Public and statistical data
Many of our numbers come from published, public data — for example U.S. Census Bureau survey microdata, and a small number of figures from published research. We bring these datasets in ourselves, ahead of time; the app never sends your information, your query or any identifier to them.
- Published figures are shown to everyone with a label saying what population they describe. A figure about one group (for example, lesbian, gay or bisexual adults) is shown to everyone the same way and is never selected based on anything we think about you.
- Where public data records only “female” and “male”, we do not invent statistics for other identities; we say so and continue with the parts of the experience that don’t need that number.
- All of these are population statistics, never a prediction about you.
8. Artificial intelligence
Most of Life Path uses no AI at all: your futures, the population counts, and the guided questions come from our own calculations and reviewed templates.
Where AI is used, we limit strictly what it receives:
- Typed questions about a plan. If you type a question in your own words, we may use a model running on Amazon Bedrock to match it to the kinds of figures a plan has. It sees your question (with names removed) and a fixed list of figure types and the names of the futures you’re comparing. It never sees your plan’s numbers, your other answers, your name or your email. Our code writes every word of the answer, and the numbers come from our own calculations. Questions are not saved and are not used to train AI.
- An optional match picture. If you ask for one, a model running on Amazon Bedrock (Stability AI’s image model) receives only the fixed visual choices you pick (such as an adult age range, hair, build, dress and a public setting) plus our fixed instructions. It never receives your name, your relationship answers or criteria, any typed text, or any photo (there is no photo upload). The picture is returned to you and is not stored on our servers.
- Sensitive topics. Automatic rules (not AI) check a typed question first. If it touches a sensitive topic, we tell you what sending it means and send it only if you approve. Questions with contact details, and questions not in English, are not sent.
- Your choice. You can turn AI off for all your plans from your account. Your relationship answers are never sent to AI in any case.
9. Service providers we use
We share information with a small number of service providers that process it on our behalf, under their own commitments to us:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, databases, encryption keys and compute. Your sealed relationship answers are stored only in encrypted form.
- Amazon Bedrock (running Stability AI’s image model) — only for the optional match picture, and only the fixed visual choices described in section 8.
- Vercel — hosts the website and passes requests through to our service.
- Amazon Cognito — sign-in only.
- Stripe — processes the $19.99 Full-access payment through Flower Architect’s checkout. We do not store your full card number.
- Flower Architect — our own service (operated by Sealogix Corporation), which manages membership and action tokens. It can see privacy-minimized records (such as that a calculation ran) and encrypted data, but not your relationship answers in readable form.
- Mixpanel — product analytics. It receives nothing that names the Love & Partnership area, and no web address or your answers.
We do not share your information with anyone to decide anything about employment, housing, credit or lending, insurance, education, healthcare eligibility or government benefits.
10. We do not sell your information or use it for targeted advertising
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California and other state laws. We never use your plan or relationship answers for advertising.
The only thing we tell advertising partners (Meta, Google and Pinterest) is, when you buy Full access, that a purchase happened — the product, its price and an order number — so we can measure our ads. We never tell them your answers, your health or your plan details. Our public marketing pages use those partners’ standard page-view tags; the pages you see once signed in do not. You can opt out with “Don’t share my info for ads” on those pages or on your account, or by using a browser that sends Global Privacy Control. See the Terms for details.
11. Full access, included futures and action tokens
Full access, included futures and action tokens are prepaid units for using the service. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and never change any outcome, probability or “luck” in a simulation — they only let you calculate more futures. “Same choices, different luck” is always free.
Action tokens belong to your Flower Architect account and are bought there. Refunds, expiry, gifting, and purchases involving the age of a purchaser follow the Flower Architect Terms of Service and are under review with counsel. Your credit and token records are included in the data you can export (section 14).
13. How long we keep your information
We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purpose we collected it, and you can delete most of it yourself at any time. Our schedule is below. If we change a period, we will update this policy (section 19).
- Relationship profile and preferences: kept while you use them, and removed after about 12 months unused — or as soon as you delete them.
- Records that a count ran: about 24 months, then removed; separated from you when you delete your answers.
- Usage counts: about 90 days.
- After you delete: encrypted answers become unreadable everywhere, including backups, within 7 days; a value-free record that you agreed to a purpose is kept for compliance, with none of your answers in it.
- Pictures and typed questions: never stored.
- Purchase records: kept as needed for accounting, in a form that does not describe what you did in the app.
We keep a clear line between what is deleted (your answers and profile) and the minimum compliance records that are retained.
14. Your choices and controls
- See and correct. You can view and change your plan and relationship answers at any time from the app.
- Delete. “Delete my relationship answers” removes them (and destroys the key first, so they become unreadable including in backups within 7 days). You can also delete your plans, or your whole account, from your account page.
- Export. You can download a copy of the information that identifies you — your saved profile, criteria, consent records, saved futures, credit and token records, the applicable activity records, and any gifts or entitlements — as a file from your account page, not merely the current screen.
- Turn off AI. “Never use AI on my plans” switches typed-question help to fixed wording.
- Advertising. “Don’t share my info for ads”, and Global Privacy Control, as described in section 10.
- Don’t save. In the relationship area you can choose not to store your answers at all.
You can export and delete your data yourself from your account page. For any other request, or to ask a question, write to jenny@flowerarchitect.com.
15. Your U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know and access the personal information we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a portable copy, to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising and certain profiling, and to limit the use of sensitive information. We do not sell or share your information for targeted advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the rights above, including to limit use of sensitive personal information and to opt out of sale/sharing, plus “Shine the Light”.
- Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with privacy laws: the comparable rights above, including consent for sensitive data and the right to appeal a decision on your request.
- Because information about who you are interested in may reveal sexual orientation, we treat it as sensitive and use it only with your permission (section 4).
You can see, export and delete your data from your account page. To exercise any other right, write to jenny@flowerarchitect.com. We will verify your request through your account, respond within the time the law allows, and tell you how to appeal if we decline. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
16. Children and young people
Life Path is for adults: you must be 18 or older, and we ask your birth year when you sign up. If you are under 18 we refuse the sign-up and store nothing. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it. A gift of Life Path is owned by the recipient, who must be 18 or older.
17. International users and data transfers
Life Path is offered in the United States, and our providers process and store information on U.S.-based infrastructure. If you use the service from elsewhere, you understand your information is processed in the United States. We have not launched in Canada or other countries; before we do, we will add the notices, consents and language those places require and a way to reach us about them.
18. How we protect your information
We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, a separate key for your relationship answers, strict internal access limits (each part of the service can reach only what it needs), and logs that record that something happened without recording your answers. We keep sensitive and identifying details out of web addresses, analytics and support tooling. We do not store full card numbers. No system is perfectly secure, but we design Life Path to limit what any one part can see and to make your most sensitive answers unreadable without a key we can destroy on request.
If a security incident affects your information, we will respond and notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
19. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Life Path grows. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Using Life Path after a change means you accept the updated policy.
20. Contact us
Questions, requests or concerns about your privacy: write to jenny@flowerarchitect.com, or by post to Sealogix Corporation, 2531 Jackson Ave, STE 322, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. We will also use this address for availability questions from outside the United States until a local contact is published. If we decline a request, we will tell you how to appeal.
